Is this anwar guy an allrounder? He can slog a bit but why not play a bowler instead then! What a joke
 
How about you try and BAT instead of thumping your chest and slogging to show you are "brave" and "aggressive"

I still remember the days when he first joined the forum :)) started out as a die hard Bangla supporter then all of a sudden changed his loyalty to England. Then sometime later his allegiance was switched to South Africa which was bizarre because he actually thought he was a Saffer. by ethnicity I mean :))).

The funny part is that back then [MENTION=133483]Energetic[/MENTION] was funny but now he is just a sad lonely troll who's bubble isn't gonna be bust anytime soon because apart from Zim nobody is inviting Bangladesh to have a 'competitive' series in their den.
 
The hard I try to convince my self that Misbah was a pathetic ODI player, I get more reality check. If I were the Captain & for such a match once in every alternate year, I probably would have tried to copy Misbah's approach - he probably faced this every alternate match.
 
Anwar is worlds biggest leg side slogger. That ball was miles outside off yet he tried to hit it to long on

Who ever calls Anwar an all rounder is delusional, that one innings has got him up on a pedestal but he is definitely not an allrounder. He looks so unco when he tries to play defensive. He's just an average bowler who can give you the odd cameo with the bat. If Starc and Johnson aren't classified all rounders, neither should he

Very good test team – that's brilliant, but in limited overs now – you have to face the reality. Should really be below the West Indies in the rankings, but you cancelled the series in the last minute just to be in that CT – it sums up Pakistan's (be their fans, team, administrators) attitude.

The worst batting I have seen this year and that too against a mediocre bowling attack (England)
 
The running between the wickets has been pathetic in this match even by Pakistani standards.

Yeah, there were ten overs left when you wanted Anwar to slog. There are eight overs left now, plenty of time to get 200-215 with proper batting.

Which we can't do if we're all out by the 43rd over because they try and slog everything.

Typical Pakistani mentality of absolving people of personal responsibility and deflecting the blame onto others.

Captain is not to blame for players being too lazy to run between the wickets or awful shot selection.
 
Do our batsmen start running after hitting the ball without looking if the ball has gone straight to the fielder? That is schoolboy stuff.

Biggest criminal today is Sarfraz - 135/3; 29 overs; often teams add 120 from there; he played the dumbest of all shots.
