So you're saying that he should be in the team on the basis of one ton months ago against a minnow? Okay.

No, but he is a better batsman than younis and shafiq.

Maybe, if there were other more capable candidates, then I wouldn't have a cse.

Btw, he scored a 46 against Aus and a 74 against SL.

Also, shafiq just got out. :)))

and Hafeez is so far (fingers crossed) showing how to play in situations like this. Good feet movement, leaving the wide one's and quick late feet movement. On the other hand, the remaining 3 so far have been so lazy in their feet movement. Nevertheless, keep this team for the rest of the series.. especially Shafiq and Younis. Technically these 2 are fighting for one spot, and both playing absolutely horrendous!

There goes the youngster Shafiq.

But...but...but...it's a flat track against a pop-gun attack!

Aman This Henry kid will go on to become the best NZ bowler of the next decade....Mark my words.

Another day, another Shafiq failure. What's the excuse today? Batting at 4 not 3? What does it matter when you are in the fourth over anyways.

When you have awful players on the team is it a surprise? YK, Shafiq and Misbah are passengers along with Afridi.

For god sake , kick younis and shafiq out. Asad Shafiq averages like 25 for 1000 runs.

Pete Rose so great predictions right? Put your money where you're mouth is? Asad Shafiq having a good series with the bat? I think Wahab Riaz has a better chance at that :uakmal

It's a shame that Pakistan actually doesn't have Umar Akmal and Fawad and play these players that don't even deserve to play ODIs for Bangladesh let alone Pakistan.

mahn its actually good useless odi players are getting exposed befor WC , get back fawad and umar

I am saying now if we have a line-up with Maqsood, Haris, Fawad and Umar Akmal we have a very strong dynamic team

I wonder how long clowns like YK and shafiq will be persisted with now, seems the selectors and captain never learn!

Id rather we lose with players like umar akmal, fawad alam and shoaib maqsood then TTFs like shafiq and YK!

Dont assume misbah is a coward ........ he is done it loads of time before. even in england, where pitches are more favourable for bowlers.

I have never seen a forum excited at Pakistan failing.

Sums it up.

cant play pace at sharjah , pakistan will really have very very difficult time in WC

Fawad, Akmal and Maqsood are most likely rolling on the floor laughing because they get replaced by shafiq and younis with every little failure.

Sums up how idiotic our management is to put these atrocious batsmen onto our team. We're excited that these guys continue to prove that they're garbage and don't deserve opportunities so we can have a chance at the WC. Don't be butthurt because you're lover boys can't play ODI cricket at all but you can never accept it.

Hafeez is at least a positive batsman ....... one thing about him is, he will take on opposition.
If only he could get over the moving ball.

You keep throwing a false narrative. No one wants to see players who in the long run are not going to perform for Pakistan. If losing the match the make the necessary changes in the long run. So be it. I hope we win but so hope Haris whom I think is a real player is a key component to it again.

It's about long term success.

Man, this unfair on haris. debuts at 8, last game at 7, now on a bouncy pitch with movement shuffled up the order to 5, basically to open. this is how you ruin young promising players :110:
