Sarfaraz Ahmed has been officially dropped for the first time in 9 seasons by Quetta Gladiators.
Today he has been dropped for the match against Peshawar Zalmi.
Last year he also missed couple of matches but was because of injury.

When it comes to the poll, I agree sarfraz should have been replaced but I don't get why rousso was chosen, cause its psl, I'd prefer a pakistani captain to lead. Quetta is the only team to not be led by a pakistani player this psl.

Quetta had to drop Sarfaraz someday and yesterday was that day. This guy was going nowhere with his batting and needed to be let go. Hope they keep the same for he next games as well.
Do you hate Karachi Kings? What did they ever do to you, for you to inflict Sarfraz on them and not just as a player but as a captain?!

Rilee has misfired big time for quetta as he left Multan. He was a beast of a player for them and played a key role in their champion run. Quetta will be feeling unlucky that he is not performing.

On the whole a rubbish tournament for Quetta. They actually had a strong squad this time and faded after a bright start.
I don’t think Sarfraz should have been replaced as captain. He should have had a shot with finally getting a good squad.
Roussow was an absolute disaster. I never felt Sarfraz ever underformed with his squad, either his squad was bad or he did alright with it. Roussow took a strong squad and failed with it, and on top providing nothing with the bat.

Lol pathetic decision. They had a much better team this time around comparing past 3 seasons . Should have sticked with Sarfraz this season .

Rilee has failed but it does not mean that sarfraz did well in the last seasons as well. He had been a failure as well. Since year 2020 they were finishing at 5 and 6 spot and this time they qualified for the play off so saying this that Sarfaraz would have done well this time is a hoax.

Before the tournament I had a huge amount of respect for both Rossow and Watson however that has all been lost seeing the way they treated Saifi
Nadeem Omar must rectify his mistake and either bring Saifi back or Salman Iqbal needs to realise that Sarfraz is the best man to lead Karachi

Sarfaraz might make a push to move to the karachi team. Sometimes a change in Franchise can do you good. Amir, Imad, Babar have done well to move on from Karachi Kings

Sarfaraz should call time on his career himself now. He is not playing that level of cricket anymore that he used to. His memorable performance for me is his resilient innings and partnership with Mohammad Amir against Sri Lanka in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
And not make the playoffs again?

Sarfraz is 1000 times superior captain than anyone in that Quetta side . It’s not like his replacement was any good . So either you announce before hand he isn’t leading or let him captain . They announced it before 4 days of Competition lol . The change was just sake of it with no real thought .
And sarfraz is 1000 times worse than any quetta player. You can't have a specialist captain.
