You're [Indiafan] one of the more balanced Indian fans though mate. You don't go overboard when you win, and you don't slit your wrists when you lose. Personally, I go by the mantra "you're never as good as they say you are, and you're never as bad as they say you are". When OZ was winning people were talking about how our dominance was bad for cricket because we were so far above everyone else, when the truth was we weren't - we just had more consistency and did the small things better. Then when we have the odd loss all the knockers come out with their "OZ is on a decline and will fall like the WI did" rubbish.
Basically, you're never as good as they say you are, and you're never as bad as they say you are. I guess Oxy's point was directed to those Indian fans on the forum who extrapolated what I feel were decent results on your OZ tour (lost the Test series, but if you play the game of "if" you can make it look like you actually won all games bar the 1st, and won the CB Trophy after looking dismal earlier in the tournament, but everyone had forgotten about that by the time the final came around) and the tour ended up being this massive victory in their eyes. I think that's the crux of it.
