100 runs lead is enough?2 away from 100 runs lead now.
What's the reason behind this madness from Misbah, I'd really like to know.
100 runs lead is enough?
Are you gonna ask the same question of Babar Azam, Younis Khan and Asad Shafiq whose SRs read 35, 42 and 32 ?

Good defense shown by Abbas.
Faced 180 balls at 42 years old and he's running that hard for two runs, yet Umar Akmal can't pass a fitness test. A Pakistani fitness test at that.
Yup, all need to be asked the same question. Were they batting to set up a possible test match win or batting out a draw? Are you ever going to question Misbah's tactics as a captain or are you going to blindly defend his every move?
Abbas for no. 8 position... Anyone?
Although he has shown good defense, his run making ability is still questionable as he has a average of 7 in First Class, we should promote him gradually if he gets some success.

The whole team is one paced. Too many grinders and nudgers, which explains why we were caught out in Australia against a very aggressive batting unit.
I have criticised him many times but the double standards and hypocrisy is amazing here. If you're worried about the scoring rate, show some intellectual honesty and criticise Babar, Shafiq and YK's SRs instead of parroting what everyone else is saying.
Let's stop assuming things please. I've criticized Babar and YK when they were out in the middle, you can check Day 3's match thread. I haven't been as active on these commentary threads as I've exams to study for, and only post when I'm on a little break. I agree that the hate Misbah cops around here is unwarranted and exaggerated, but that being said, nobody is above criticism, not even Misbah.
My concerns were more regarding Misbah the captain and what his tactics really are. He's looked quite lackadaisical in the field over the past couple of series, and so I wonder whether his heads in it or not. Anyways, he's nearing a hundred, let's hope he gets it so I can get back to studying.![]()
Surviving is more important once your team's eight down.
Actually.. Misbah doesn't deserve it...
