March is on its way to Islamabad and participants numbers are increasing slowly. Almost 100,000 now.

How much money has already been spent on the long March? Any rough figure.

I am thinking about feeding starving families with that money

Looks like the march would be BIG, bigger then the lawyers long march.

Gov. already looks frightened.

Rehman Malik's statements in the morning tells you where we are heading if we add the Protests all over against Shia killing... I smell boots on the ground :(

Rehman Malik is more worried abut Qadri's Topi than Long March. He said in his Topi he (Qadri) looks like a Pope :yk

Any alternative seems better at the moment than this current govt.

Nope

TUQ become prime minister of Pakistan :P... he has support of 40 million after all :P

Only thing Rehman Malik is worried about is buying next elections and destroying this country for more years.

These people are like parasites and don't give a **** about human life...

Malik announces 5 million reward for those who will disclose Dr. Qadri's source of finance.

why people are waving playcards of Musharraf in the long march? what has Mushy got to do with it?

Think of this march as an investment. If you take away the money for the long march, sure you can feed starving families for some time but that's not a long term solution. Long term solution is to put an end to this so called democracy sham and oust these corrupt and dishonest leaders. Automatically prosperity will rise .

Pti meeting going on. IK might announce to join tuq very soon. Tuq is the boss now. All hard work done by IK and tuq is cashing it big time.

But the Army does not want to oust such corrupts since they sleep with them on the same bed. And everyone knows who is the Big boss in Pakistan? The Army.

He and all standing on the sidewalk will only have 2 options, join PPP/PMLN or join the march and DEMAND REMOVAL OF THE GOV. AND PUT A CARETAKER GOV OF TECNOCRATS IN CHARGE.

I am smelling the boots. This qadri and all other stuff is a pre planned game. Stay tuned. No elections.

I agree no Elections for at least 2 years but I don't think so Army is willing to take over. They may play a role in caretaker Govt though.

You were the one posting against TUQ... LOL U remind me of Rehman Malik... Rumors of a done deal.. March not going past Jehlum :)

No army without support from PTI..

PTI will have to support for army to come in... TUQ Just doesn't have enough support from KPK, Balochistan and Sindh..

lol @ Govt

They just need any reason to impose a ban on Pillion Riding (Double Sawari)

Pathetic Govt :)))

BrassTacks latest Threat Analysis:

The PPP regime is facing a collapse now. Multiple challenges of security have now brought the Zardari led government into panic mode now. The government of Baluchistan is about to collapse and Zardari’s own residence in Karachi, Bilawal house, is under siege by protestors. The Shias in the country are blocking roads and trains all across the country to protest the killings in Quetta. In Quetta itself, the Hazara Shias are sitting with their nearly 100 bodies in the freezing cold for the last 52 hours demanding a martial law in the city. Hundreds of thousands of marchers are now heading towards Islamabad demanding the scalp of Zardari and his regime. Islamabad is sealed and under siege and the government has fled, hiding behind hundreds of containers and thousands of civilian law enforcement troops.

Pakistan army is facing a multi-axis war from Line of Control to the FATA and is also being dragged into the election duties, over stretching the already thinned out military. TTP, Indian army and Drones are now going for the kill, sensing the vulnerabilities of the Pak army under these most dangerous times.

Now the people of Quetta are demanding army to take over the city. Army is already on the standby in Islamabad to be called in if the situation gets out of control of the government.

This is a very difficult time for the army also. On one hand, the country is sinking and the enemies are opening up more and bloodier fronts everyday causing great casualties on daily basis. On the other hand, people have now started to demand army to intervene to remove the provincial and even federal governments. If the army waits and let the politicians handle the crisis, the country would be lost for good within weeks. The political government has already lost total control.

If the army intervenes, it will have to chose between a martial law or a army backed civilian caretaker government. It can also chose to intervene to support the Zardari regime but it would also be severely burnt in the process as Zardari is now a total liability for the nation and the army.

It is the call of the army Chief now. He remains silent. Deadly silent, causing more and more frustration and anger within the nation and even within the army.

Next week or two would basically decide the fate of the regime and threats would further rise exponentially. Monday, onwards would be the moment of truth for the government now and for the nation. Years of corruption, negligence and complacency has now brought the country on the brink of collapse. A tragic state of affairs indeed.

But great khair would emerge from this anarchy, InshAllah. Baluchistan government has collapsed. The process has begun. Now Islamabad regime would also fall. It is just a matter of time now, InshAllah.

Rabi ul Awwal has begun. A Month of khair and Barakah alhamdolillah. Allah will never abandon the Ummat of Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm). Milad un Nabi Mubarak. Infinite salat o salam on Sayyadi Rasul Allah (sm).

I had to go for band practice but thanks to this mullah I stay at home...

I think this is a bit different, this is driven by the people themselves and this form of civil uprising could lead to levels of violence similar to what we have seen in the arab spring.

Their just past wazirabad now, apprently, all those buses that were blocked are starting to join up and MQI are expecting a huge welcome in Rawalpindi early tomorrow.

not watching this on TV, but is this jalsa as big as Imran Khan's ?

Its not a jalsa, its a march so you can only find out a rough estimate of people when they've reached islamabad. Personally i think it will be big, if you look around on twitter and news channels, people are still trying to get in from peshawar, AK, etc. They had a huge boost from the crowd present in muridke and gujranwala.

Its a long march going from Lhr to Isl to remove the gov. the numbers should be 10-20 times bigger then what IK has been able to put up so far.

Dunya news has said when it left Lahore, it was 60 KM long. Which is staggering considering it will get bigger and bigger.

If they get to Isl there is no DOUBT their demands must be met, it seems the BLASTS were done to stop people from coming out but its gone completly against them and once this march hits Isl, all the Hazara movements, other parties and other organisations would join it.

Next few days should be curtains for the gov. and army should make sure all the traitors are on the ECL before they run.

LAHORE: The Minhajul Quran International has rejected a notice from the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) demanding over half a million rupees for damage done to the Minar-i-Pakistan ground in Tahirul Qadri’s rally there on December 23.

Hundreds of thousands of people took part in the rally and they damaged the plantations and stole grills and fences from the ground, according to the PHA. The authority sent a notice to Dr Qadri, the MQI chairman, stating that the participants caused damages worth Rs185,400 to the grass and flowers, and Rs322,170 to the landscaping and grills. It also sent photographs of the damage.

The notice was sent to Dr Qadri, the chairman of the MQI, at his office in Model Town’s M Block. It does not mention a deadline, but states that the payment must be made “as soon as possible”.

Yaar this account is fake...#PTI has clarified many times but some idiots keep falling for it :D

Oh ok....PetroDollars put this tweet, I thought he would know if it was a real account or not. Maybe not.

Tahir Qadri cashing in on Imran Khan's work :/ He just stepped in at the right time to pick up the spoils, how could IK have not been anticipating this?

Imran Khan should have been the one leading this march

There is no cashing in or right timing here

IKs customer is the burger kids while TUQs customer is the common man and women effected by the corrupt gov.

IK is a fool with no political acumen like his supporters who will once again get an embarrassing result if elections are held. With all the support he gathered he could off led a genuine movement like this long march and set his own demands, removed the gov. and created a new system for the country, but like a fool he went and started playing a game of politics which he didn't understand and took all the used and failed politicians and dreamed about winning the next elections. Your right he should be leading this march, had he had any sense it would've just been that.

Now the lime light is on TUQ, so far i am satisfied with his demands and movement apart from his blunder of allowing MQM in. If he gets to the Parliament and gets all his demands accepted he could be the savior we were waiting for. IK would be forced to take a backseat in his movement and accept TUQ as his leader.

Altaf Hussain raised an issue of changing Pakstan's map a few months ago....getting rid of Balochistan .

Mr. Qadri is saying the same stuff in his speeches.

What's his source of information?

Believe me or not. A HUGE crowd is marching towards Islamabad. Once it reaches there, they are not going anywhere until they achieve what they want. People are angry because of this corrupt system and tension is building up in Govt camp. Stay tuned guys.
