It's your 9th pick
Guys hurry up seriously I’ve waited over a day since I last picked
With my 10th Pick, Bezli selects one of the fine batsmen of this era, Babar Azam.
Kindly message your next pick too to Abdullah719

Finally
9. Mahela Jayawardene
10. Mark Boucher
Jayawardene should have been picked much earlier
Watsupdoc another one gone.

Don't think so. Jaya is round 10, round 11 pick at best
What a steal!!My next pick is....
Shane Bond
An interesting point to note is that in a test draft, we have a lot of very good to great players making it as 10th or 11th pick because for test cricket, there are lot of players from past that joins the list. The sample size is almost 100 years to choose from.
However, for ODIs, it is unlikely that we will have enough solid picks left in the final slot because ODI cricket started from 70s, so it limits the time period to 50 years only.
One of those players who improved immensely with time.. Not a superstar but certainly at par or better than Amla, Younis, Laxman, Babar, Gayle, Martyn etc.
Guess he took his test average to 56 at one point
My next pick is....
Shane Bond

Jaya is not better than Laxman or Amla or Babar.
Probably not we will see.
ODIs also have a bigger pool of players. Besides margin is very tight between ODI players.
Besides when you look back the black and white days it's only a England, Australia, predominantly and some players from WI, RSA
In ODIs some of the other nations have produced a lot of great players.
My next pick is....
Shane Bond
Mahela after a good amount of test cricket averaged 56 in test cricket at one point.
I thought somebody has already taken that. What a pick! This is arguably the greatest pick of this draft coming up at that lower slot.
Jaya with an average of 31 in SENA? I don't think so
Of course he should have been picked ahead of Babar and probably Laxman. All other batsmen you mentioned were consistently good all over the world. Amla should have retired an year ago than he did while his average was around 50. Gayle being an opener isn't comparable

Someone picked Mike Proctor. It's right up there as well.
Both of them were on my list at some point..
Ricky Ponting averages 20 in India.
Not all players travel great. He was very dominant at home and has a world cup final hundred to his name.
My next pick is....
Shane Bond
Just realized it was Kaddy picking both Proctor and Bond.
You have absolutely nailed some of the picks bro
Ricky Ponting still averages 40+ in Asia though. It wasn't as if he was a dud on spinning tracks. Mahela on the other hand has an abysmal record on pace friendly wickets.
Two picks to go.
I want this next guy very very badly
Might not be considered an ATG, but he is one of the best of all time against spinners and there is a reason I got him playing at #5, where on average the cricket ball is the oldest.
Plus, he is my favorite player of all time,
I'll take him any day over the geysers you picked.

Debating whether I should take a batsman with my last pick or Shakib.
That would make me the only person to have a player from each country,
because I know you are avoiding selecting a Pakistani.
You may even pick Asad Shafiq over those bona fide ATG geysers, I won't mind
Your team, your marzi
Hahaha I had a serious thought about putting Haneef in there at #3. Went for Martin Crowe simply because i am avoiding to give this team a very black and white feel.
I think you already have a very appropriate guy in mind. I will say think a bit more there's another guy with similar role with more swag
)
Who's your number 3 ?
Assuming KP plays at 4
You need a spinner and a pacer. therealAB needs 2 openers so you're safe. Da Future knick may steal your pacer though
Williamson, only Sanga, Dravid, Ponting and Amla have more runs at #3. Probably the hardest position to bat in Test cricket.
I think i am the only one to designate my captain (Clive Lloyd)
Who are your captains.
Surely Sobers for therealAB and Imran for Rayyman
Yeah I need a #6. Probably the weirdest position. You need a guy who averages 40+ who can play spin and the new ball, plus counterattack when needed.Perfect.
Gayle and KP are explosive, others to provide stability
Guess who has the second most runs at the batting position I need...You may even pick Asad Shafiq over those bona fide ATG geysers, I won't mind
Your team, your marzi
Gotta be Steve Waugh or Border for me. Yet to decide

Lol he'd be a steal then. Mubarak ho

He has the last pick. Will the great Asad Shafiq be available by then
Should I consider that as your last pick in case you're not around If available, of course.
Guys there are some great batsmen available:
Ranatunga, Misbah, Trescothick, Sarwan, Gibbs, Ganguly, just to name a few...
If you need more ideas I can let you know
In case you need suggestions, you can refer to my name.
He should be available. Rayyman is really lucky that Bezli and Haris Bhai are done with their middle order bats
In case you need suggestions, you can refer to my name.
Is it Allan Border? Thought you were ABDV fan
My middle-order is pretty stacked already. Thinking of selecting a specialist fielder.
Just saw you don't have a spinner yet so you must be planning to bat Imran at #6 unless you go for a spin AR
Chris Gayle has 73 wickets in Tests, while KW and KP can also bowl. My pacers will be effective on any pitch.
Aside from Shakib (who only has 3000 odd runs), there is no great spin batting all-rounder.
I am not sacrificing a specialist batsman for a bits and pieces all-rounder.
Bhaijaan, a great spin bowling allrounder is still unpicked(not shakib) .It's totally between me and Da_Future_Knick right now lol both have two bowling spots to fill
But wait he needs a keeper too doesn't he?
Bhaijaan, a great spin bowling allrounder is still unpicked(not shakib) .
I would like to select
Shakib
Was Tony Greig any good?

therealAB's pick is Herbert Sutcliffe.
