Actually Pakistan never followed that strategy in bowling. They ALWAYS looked for wickets. Had 6 bowlers and ensured they restricted teams even on pattas.

Its their batting that has been stuck in the 80s.

One of the reasons why you guys won in SA was because you guys had regular inroads which ensured SA never ran away with the game.
