anwer ali not bowling all that badly actually. Sort of acurate. Just needs to remove the boundary ball from his over.

Obviously against aus on these sorts of pitches he will struggle, but he may be more useful on austrailian/new zealand pitches.

Agreed.

I thought Haddin was a proper bat but looks like he is hiding against these lower order hitters.

He can be useful for a part time bowler but does not deserve a 10 over quota that he was given in this match.

They are tring to stop the singles but in vain so far

leave the 2 drop catch fielding is on top for pakistani standars

Surprised by Anwar's fielding. Very rare to see a Pakistani bowler throwing himself around.

maybe. Bowls in decent areas, has decent pace variation. I feel like he has potential but you are right at this point he is at best a 6th bowler. Shouldnt be getting 10 overs every match. At this point atleast, hopefully he will improve.

I think Misbah has bowled Fawad only to compensate for some of Anwar's overs.

Both batting and bowling will be balanced with hafeez and Maqsood in place of Sarfaraz and Shafiq

Anwar ali needs to develop more varieties or increase his pace if he is to be taken seriously as a bowler.

interesting how many good fielders we have in the field yet are still making many mistakes.

Shehzad, Umar akmal, fawad, anwer ali, misbah are probably all the best fielders in the entire country.

Afridi, shafiq, wahab riaz are are also not bad.

wahab is a great fielder

Why do people forget Afridi when we talk about fielding. Didn't he take a blinder in this match already!

I don't know if anyone noticed, but just of the last ball of the Babar over, Sarfaraz shouted "Sirf aik hai, slow kar Anu (in reference to Anwar Ali), sirf aik hai". This here epitomizes the situation of our fielding. Even though our fielding has been quite good this game, there is still no willingness to run quickly to the ball and throw it into the keeper, creating pressure on the batsman and causing mistakes.

hes a great catcher, doesnt drop many. I am talking about fielding in general. Would you put him inside the circle and expect him to dive and save runs like shehzad?

you should see him sliding on the boundary line but you cant put a bowler in the ciircle he will get tired

The pakistani spinners have lost the ability to see if batsman is coming down the track or not. Should have been bowled wide.
