This is a weak Australian side and Pakistan are making them look like world beaters.

Almost gave his wicket away Ahmed - but survives - good over for Pak 5 runs

Whats going on with this walking around the crease now misbah does it what happened to keep your head still and play through the line.
I know boyc is raving about it cos he got three last ball but if he gets out I wont be happy.

And you were almost right - beaten by Clarke

Misfield 2 taken. 30-2

In that case, we need a big PP bear!

I propose dressing up Oxy and holding him up :31:

Guyz we need little patience here. i know we have been playing bad for last 3(including) matches. But i would still give some more time to our team before making any changes. Our team is lacking match practice and still trying to find the right combination.

and as usual a 30 for 2 start after 10 overs .... pathetic .... no intent watsoever

Pretty much pakistan needs a big partnership here.

These Pakistani's are trying to be too cute. They are average players yet they move all around the crease like they will disturb the bowlers line. You wouldn't see Yousuf doing this. He is a class act.

You only start moving around in the crease when you are playing good cricket and at the moment the batsman are not playing too good.

2 more to Misbah. Good running.

I am not sure about inti as coach he belongs to the past.To me this team needs jonty rhodes as their coach fielding and running will improve.

Totally agree but these guys are professional. They do this for a living. They get paid. They should be ready to play whenever its possible. Rusty was in the first match. This is the 4th game. Basically this is a poor Pakistan side and a weak Australia side yet there is a big difference between the sides.

I think Boycott would be a good coach. :)

Again a very slow start by Pakistan.

Guys is it the pitch or Pak batsment are looking nervous?

I can't get remote till Mumbai Indians finish their innings.

who is coming next ................. Malik is not wearing his pads :o

Intresting to see when Aussies bring spinners on?

Down the legside.. a couple of leg byes to Shahzad.. Hauritz bowling..

It was interesting to see brett lee delivering refreshments to the quicks on the boundary. We dont see that sort of work from the seniors in our side do we..

Hauritz on and pakistan need to impose themselves here!

40/2

Misbah being a little cheeky around his pads..paddle sweeps being employed.

Shehzad's helmet is not snug fit ! Always seem to come down below his eye level after every shot he plays !

Senselessly dancin down the wicket.. Shahzad needs to ease up. This isn't a 250-270 wicket..

Ahmed Shazad struggling to play his shots. Getting a bit frustrated. Risky single taken.

pak run rate is 2.92 :)

Somebody tell Misbah that they are not playing test match here. :P

Pakistan doing well here - guys have patience. Accumulation of runs is also important

Very very crucial. Anthing in excess of 200 and we should have a good shot at winning it.

This is a crunch match, they should try for 235+, which seems unlikely at this point, but they should just play positive...

Just saw some footage of Akhtar chatting to some of the Aussies before the game. First he was talking to Brett lee and then he was with Watson, Bracken and someone else.

I agree with you. This is not a pitch where you can hit boundaries at will.

The seamers have really slowed the game up. It ll be interesting to see if our quicks will revert to similar tactics.. The slower ball seems to be the main stay on such wickets.

Professionalism and pakistan are two different things. They really need to learn what does professional means first. we have been winning matches based on individual performances rather then winning as a team.

we only need match practice and little more confidence to perform better as far our bating is concern.

I think a lot will do with how our Bowlers adjust

just banging it short and try and blow Aussies away will result in a very quick loss

This is just horrible batting. Its understood that the pitch isnt ideal for boundary hitting. Atleast take some damn singles! There should be 4 singles minimum per over. Boundaries can come occasionally.

for those actually watching, is it really that tough a wicket?

I think having such an old school coach doesnt help matters either. As it is from his media statements you can make out that the guy mostly believe in pep talks and doesnt focus too much on the technical sides of things.

well wht u think when they faxe dot balls do they enjoy it? no!! man they also want single

Are we honestly blaming the coach? Misbah ha been playing cricket for a long time. He ought to know the match situation as well as anyone of us here. It seems a if we believe that the team want to do bad on purpose. That's just not true.

My time is over. Time to have a bath and get reasy for Jummah namaz.

InshaALLAh things look better when I'm back.

North to bowl.

51/2.. good going by these two. We can't afford to take any risks at this stage.

I'd say if we can get to 150 by the 35th over, we'll have a good shot at a competitve total.

its like watching the 1992 worldcup final when imran and javed were batting - NOT!

Exactly. We need wickets in hand and at least 4 runs per over right now. No need to take extraordinary risks or be innovative (Misbah).

Finally got a chance to watch this during IPL break. Why are they trying to play everything to fineleg. There is a whole big area infront of them. Batting is poor so far.
