do you even know what follow on means?

Technically we could have been ... had we been bowled out for less than 54 :) We safely managed that... atleast we will not lose by an innings :)

I want to see you make your debut at lords replacing Yousuf and facing the Aussies in English conditions....

Azhar Ali looked to have a decent technique and Amin has showed good technique in the odi's...But I think we made the mistake of playing them in extremely important positions...

Amin should have come in at number 3 and Azhar Ali at number 6...

Afridi should have played a captain's knock and shown responsibility, very dissappointing. Umar akmal got to across to LBW and kamran got A good inswinger and as did butt to get out to twatson. Umar amin also got a good seaming ball from johnson.

I knew farhat would'nt survive as he's good for nothing as he still does'nt know where his offstump is.

All and all had it been sunny and dry i believe we would have batted better. Continous cloud cover and drizzles just confirmed pakistan's batting lineup was going to struggle.

and the rain has suddenly stopped and the sun is out...its shining more now then it has done all day long!

its our personal choice kid .. some like umar amin ..and some don't

you cant force us to like such dummy cricketers and ruin pak cricket.
There is a difference between liking Umar Amin and not liking Asif kid. You are comparing apples and oranges here. The whole cricketing world knows it, Aussie players are accepting it and you are one of those few MORONS who is denying the fact that Asif is the best test bowler Pakistan has. It's about time now that PP should start to go through these absolute rubbish comments and start to eliminate these comments. We want to keep a certain sensible posters here. People who really don't know about cricket should not be allowed here. All these newbies are really talking nonsense here to prove their rubbish points. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC comments.

Here is a suggestion for you, go to the nearest library and find a book called, cricket for dummies and start reading it. In your case, you need every possible book that is written for dummies so you can start learning some cricket.

The collapse isn't really a surprise. Before the match everyone was predicting it. You can't play so many debutants and terrible players(Farhat) and expect to get runs on the board.

plus I think either our bowlers bowled much better or conditions were far more bowler friendly yesterday...

It was by in large irresponsible batting especially by Junior...
Farhat, well he looked so unusually composed for the first few overs and then played a silly shot with no footwork at all...

indeed, we had the best of conditions today and yesterday...just needed to apply yourself...Akmal bradaraan and Afridi :pissed:

Not really AZ, the pitch still had a lot of juice in it, the ball was seaming and ducking around a long way. Hard to blame the debutants for their failures.

You right, you can't blame debutants under these conditions but the way they got out was very poor. The ball doesn't bounce much on the flat tracks of Pakistan and these two really didn't have a clue on how to leave the ball on length.

The selection was poor, one debutant is fine but two at no.3 and 4 was too risky.

I just found myself saying 'cmon get 2 we need Kanaria on strike'

You know you're in trouble when you think that

I'm not blaming the debutants at all, it's the fellows after them that I am not particularly pleased with.

and its raining again at Lords!!! Sun is out in Mill Hill!!!

Typical English weather!

Anybody remember the last wicket partnership of 60 odd b/w Gul and Asif in Hobart test...:asif..!!de ja vu ? :danish

This is how we do it, scramble 7 runs in every 5 balls of play and pray for rain to intervene and give us a cooling off period :afridi

PAK 148/9, rain comes on again and suspension in play !

The rain that hit Mill Hill must now be over Lords (St Johns Wood)..

If its like what it was here..then expect it to stop and for the sun to come out very quickly

Indeed,I am disappointed with Akmals especially Umar....the way he was moving around the crease showed that he is still in that One day mood.....You cant move around while playing on every ball because then you ought to miss one....His head was still moving when he tried to work the ball on the on side and as a result missed a straight one.....He was looking comfortable when he was still at the crease....

its going south now....lol

i hate the english weather...too bloody unpredictable like our batting line up :)))

here we go again...fingers crossed that danny and asif frustrate the aussies for an entire session!! that would be about 3 overs until the rain comes down again!!

but I am not sure Kaneria would survive for that long...:)).......

well 10 edges here and there going to the boundry= 40 runs...job done.. :)))

not impossible

Ironic the supposed worst two batsmen in the game have just found themselves in the best batting conditions of the test.

Kaneria needs to go after twato. :danish

Shane Twatson, out of every one, him.. now hes going to score 100, because hes all confident

Pakistan 148 all out..................poor batting effort (except afridi & butt)
Watson picks a fifer...........oh well
