Pakistan need to get 2 more wickets before end of the day.

Bairstow & Taylor looking troublesome for Pakistan.

Need to get at least one - if not both of these guys before the next 20-30 runs are scored.

He's been bowling a lot of overs. I would seriously consider resting him for some of the ODIs, he deserves it. They need to handle him properly.

Yep and in this heat and unsupported wickets he can really damage himself.

Need to break this partnership and we're in teh driving-seat again. England are effectively five down and I'm not sure if Adil Rashid can consistently score runs.

Damn taylor- well played.

Zulfi and Rahat are hopefully going to inflict some damage witht the new ball.

No need to worry yet, we can afford to give England a 50 runs lead.

For that case we have to get next 5 wickets in 100 runs...which at the moment seems like not possible.

Break this partnership and that a lower-order collapse is on the cards.

Imagine a Sehwag special of 60 (50) balls right now.

Will turn the game on its head.

As of now, England are ahead. But moment, Pak picks up a wicket, they will be in the reckoning.

This is a match where if you don't get to a winning position, you lose. England need 75 runs lead to avoid defeat and by doing so, they would mostly win.

See saw.

Get some Sehwag out there and smash the bowler around. Atleast will be fun to watch whether he succeeds or not. :))

If the pitch is flattening out and will continue to do so, then England need a bigger lead.

Was this track more lively yesterday? Or did we just bat crap? Bit of both I reckon.

Poor decision at the toss.

NZ match was the same. We batted poorly and NZ amassed a big score in the 2nd innings. The track got better for the bowlers on day 4 and 5 though. So yea England with the advantage.

You always always and always bat first when you win toss in test matches.

Unless conditions are so bad that you could get opposition bundled out in the first innings by asking them to bat.

Wicket is lot easier today then yesterday, it will get more flatter tomorrow, one of the more reason to get England out.

Taylor has played spin the best, why English think tank could not see that?? - sometimes you feel, all these extra staff is good for nothing. What's the point if you cannot see the obvious.

All three results possible going into day four which is superb for test cricket. Hopefully Inda vs South Africa and Australia vs New Zealand can give us similar thrills.

It cost Pak dearly against NZ and against Aus a decade ago. The Sharjah track is a bit strange as it offers more on the first day and then settles down. The last 120 overs of the match have a bit in it for the spinners though.

I can understand that Misbah didn't trust his batsmen to chase on a day 5 track. At the moment it seems that we'll be batting on day 4 which is not going to be easy.

Just 46 runs away , Poms likely to take a good lead here , Pakistan will need very good batting in second innings here.

So pleased for Taylor! He should have played all three tests.

Alistair Cook and co are very reluctant to chop and change. Look at how Moeen is still opening the batting.

Pakistan won the toss , they cannot complaint.

Man, we need to get two English wickets today and bowl them out early tomorrow. We'll need at least one full day to bowl England out again but we'll need the same amount of time to rack up a good total.

This test might just be another draw which means no #2 ranking.

too many Partnerships for England not good for Pakistan...I think team needs to regroup one wicket today will be a total bonus.

Not sure about the draw because that would mean Pakistan batting for 150+ overs. I don't see that happening.

Let's see what happens tomorrow. If Pak bowlers do not fire then we're in trouble.

This test at the moment going towards a loss which means even bad.

If England get out by lunch tomorrow, with a lead of 50, Pakistan will most likely bat for three sessions before getting bowled out or declaring. England would only have to survive for two sessions after all that.

Unless we improve our batting and fast bowling we will be whitewashed any seaming condition.

I am not impressed by English think tank at all. They did not pick right the right guy. Result of series would have being different by now.

Pakistani think tank made quite a few error, first Zulfi, secondly in this test batting first, they are home team, how could you not know at variations of pitches, after playing for 8 years??

At the same time, pitch was not done correctly, gives lot of advantages to bat second. It should be neutral.

How? If these two are playing our spinners so well, I don't see our batsmen getting steam-rolled by Patel.
