Seeing our players struggling against fast bowlers in UAE condition how much we will score in England, Australia, South Africa and NZ? Not more than 70-80.

How? If these two are playing our spinners so well, I don't see our batsmen getting steam-rolled by Patel.

Our team unfortunately crumble with pressure...we had that in 1st test and this wicket is bound to get clumsy in next days to even bad news for our batsman.

Pakistan would be lucky to last 60 overs on lively pitches.

Every time I see Zulfiqar bowl his pies I feel like smacking the team management for his selection

If England get out by lunch tomorrow, with a lead of 50, Pakistan will most likely bat for three sessions before getting bowled out or declaring. England would only have to survive for two sessions after all that.

That's the thing. If Pakistan get bowled out in 3 sessions then there is another day left for the English batsmen to score the runs or get out.

A draw is very unlikely here. Have a look at the last few match here and you'll see that the track gets better on day 4 and 5 for the bowlers. A mediocre Craig blew us away last year.

I am not impressed by English think tank at all. They did not pick right the right guy. Result of series would have being different by now.

Pakistani think tank made quite a few error, first Zulfi, secondly in this test batting first, they are home team, how could you not know at variations of pitches, after playing for 8 years??

At the same time, pitch was not done correctly, gives lot of advantages to bat second. It should be neutral.

That's how they have been. They hardly make changes ala Misbah's philosophy. Alex Hales for example deserved a go.

Our batsmen are far better than England's in these conditions, plus they can't put Stokes out in the field. I don't see us collapsing against the English spinners and how much damage can Anderson and Broad do?

It is going to be a draw because I don't see Pakistan batting aggressively on this pitch and leaving enough time for their bowlers to force a result. England are probably going to bat until Lunch tomorrow which means that they'll only have two sessions to survive if Pakistan bat until Lunch on day five.

Of course, things will be different if this pitch starts spitting and turning square or if a bowler produces a match-turning spell but IMO, a draw is most likely.

My friend you are being too optimistic about Pakistan chances of not losing this match...I am quite sure this wicket will spin by the middle of day 3 and hell will follow.

And you are being too pessimistic. What makes you think England will out-score us on a pitch that turns aggressively?

Theres just no way this match is a draw. This is just the end if the 2nd day and theres still plenty of time left. If the Abu Dhabi test almost had a result, this match will most certainly have one.

Second day? Oh shoot, you're right! I definitely thought this was day three.

I think this match will have a draw under 4 days.

We got to come strong in the morning and get these guys dusted for 300 MAX. Then we got to somehow put up 400 with a YK special
aint giving this up yet

If England can get a decent lead (that's IF) then scoreboard pressure will kick in. Plus which, the wicket should start breaking up and Rash could come into effect.

Need to get one wicket today from somewhere, anywhere. These two have played very well.

Scoring 100 odd runs in nearly whole day with 9 wickets would be more than possible.. I just think its more there game to lose than ours to win or draw at the moment.

England are slightly ahead but a wicket here or a good session tomorrow morning will mean that we're in the lead.

i blame our batsmen , giving 6 wickets away to quick bowlers just for 53 in 39 overs is unacceptable.

Taylor is a real class act guy. Him n Root will be the two lynchpins of the English middle order for the next 5-6 years at least.

Don't know why England preferred a player like Buttler over Taylor

Butler has been in the side for a while now and even though he's been out of form they felt they owed him some chances to prove himself before dropping him. The bigger question is why would they prefer someone like Bairstow over Taylor when Butler was in the XI? Bairstow had a great season in FC cricket but Taylor by far has always been the superior player and probably the most complete batsman in England across all formats.

England should just look to bat and bat as long as possible. Just stay at the crease and tire out Pakistan.
