akthar looking to bend ball back in thru gate here. maybe extra protection thru midwicket or deep on legside would help. That means akthar can go at stumps more.
 
First 3 deliverys of Shoaib Akhar not on the target, laxman very watchfull he know his job is to play out the day. And not play any loose stroke.

And 4th delivery right on the target. Laxman very lucky he hitted the bat or else it would have been very very close. Hawkeye sugested it was middel !

the 5th delivery was again on the target nicely defended to the covers.

The last delivery was a slower one, but not on the target

Good over by shoaib almost got the wicket of Laxman there. He is bowing round 144 kph.

dani is not looking dangerous at all ... laxman had a classy 4 here.

and i am justified in saying what i said ... coz shoaib bowled 5 sucker of deliveries in the previous over ... only the one ball which reverse swing was worth the effort he put

yeah right!!! u are taking all the pace out of the bowl ..making our lifz much more difficult...the ball doesnt come onto the bat.......is that what u call royalties????95 for 1 now....pindi will be bowling to laxman

Danish Kaneria is getting some turn, at the other hand Indians are playing very late and sometimes against the spin. Danish is targeting Laxman !

Then why the sour grapes and the "waste of energy comment"? Just because you produce 120 km/h trundlers, it doesn't mean that you can't admire Shoaib's talent.
 
The late cut on this wicket has been played well by both sides. Inzi and afridi played it for fun of kumble and bhajji.

try to read all my messages before u say nething like that ... coz i admire shoaib a lot ... and i always give the respect he deserves ... but with the element of pace that he has, i feel that his efforts are most of the times wasted
 
Dravid is a tough cookie. We need to target Laxman with Shoaib. Let Dravid have his single.
 
Dravid is looking solid .. Laxman is slightly circumspect against pindi

but Pak are not 50+ averaging batsmen. I mean you saw the way Afridi hamerred. murdesrous.anyways can you please follow the game. we can have the discussions later.

2 slip and a gully for Shoaib, bowling right on the target Dravid always solid as rock. He is bowling consistly over 90 mph/144 k.

Rahul Dravid is the big one here, Shoaib is bowling 6/6 on the stumps but Dravid he is so good playing without any problems !

agree with this. Apart from Shoaib and Kumble on Indian side not a single bowler looked dominating. Shoaib cud well be the difference though.

pindi bowling with a lot of heart which is gud to see.....come on pindi get us one wicket for the night boy!!! i smell something as well inzi ..not a wicket but a slower ball coming lets hope that brings us a wicket :D

sometimes u sense that pessimisim is a negative approach ... but on the contrary, the same pessimism can be taken as being on the safe side ... going all out does give an option to win ... but might as well take india to doom's land

I agree with Kashy on Lahore ... Even pakistan could get only 1 wicket. Agree that pace without wicket is useless. But thats the best u got on lifeless pitches.

how about both shoab to bowl.ocassionaly akhtar to bowl off spin and malik pace with a long run up. batsmen will get confused
 
Soon Younis Khan might think about bowling Afridi. Afridi did get him LBW at Bangalore.
