USA (159/3) & (18/1) defeat Pakistan (159/7) & (13/1) by 5 runs in a super over thriller to cause the first major upset of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024

Too many balls in the slot

Pakistan cricket deserves this humiliation for not selecting a team based on performance or merit. Nepotism and networking have destroyed cricket in Pakistan.

First Afghanistan and now the USA. Previous generation of Pakistani players would have their houses stoned and effigies torched, these present players are lucky that they get a pat on the back "Well tried, better luck next time"

I watched the whole innings of Pak vs AfG game , specially the AFG chase still feels like a trauma a surgery horrible experience

Utter shambles and all the Indians have turned up to troll the thread.

Offer these donkeys $300 & a meal they’ll come like a dog with a bone (this was last night btw)
Absolute joke, they aren't there are as professional sportsmen. They are there for a good time, they don't care about their performances. It's about making friends with the selectors/captain and then having a spot in the team forever. its a World Cup, you would think they would atleast have warm up matches on new style pitches

Nothing sums this up more than Azam khan being selected. He is just unfit, even if he is a good batsmen you need a basic level of fitness to play elite cricket. look at the message it sends out. They have such a club cricket mentality.

Shadab’s next over can be make or break

Momank can settle the game here

So now we'll have to beat India in order to qualify for the super 8's
Not going to happen and Kirsten is already looking older after being on the job for 2 weeks

Just another Micky 2.0. Agree with every selection.

Dilemma for Babar here. Does he bowl the one over of spin now in front of Jones, or does he leave it for the last hoping the pacers can bowl them out before.

Serious question, are Ramiz and Wasim not the most unprofessional commentators? Like who, openly supports their team during commentary like that? You're supposed to be unbiased lol.

Should have sent Anderson. His experience will be key here.
