I don't understand the theory behind 3 spinners. Makes sense to pick an extra pacer in pace favoring conditions because they bowl shorter spells. But a spinner doesn't need much of rest, so why pick a third spinner who isn't very good?

Moreover, why pick two similar spinners? It would have made sense had they gone with a leggie but A$$lose and Dartbhajan are very much similar.

Gambhir actually got a decent score. If he had tried to protect the tailenders, who know india actually might have posted 100 to give england some sort of total.

England should knock the runs off and mark an historic win. 50 runs is not a big enough target to really lose, but not small enough to put in Panesar to hit the winning runs, which would have been cool.
