we should sack fletcher..he has brought some defeatist english mentality in our team
 
Now it looks as if 100 would have been chased easily , this is good pitch for Test matches. There is something in for everyone.

even the english accept that england should stop being england...and here we have a former england coach to corrupt our players' never say die attitude

i am aware of that..he was a brilliant batsman..but the english mentality is contagious which he brought to our dressing room
 
The winning runs need to be hit off Harbhajan for this Test match to be complete.

He was a mediocre batsman, he was more of an allrounder. And he barely played Internationals.

i remember he did well when zimbabwe defeated australia in 1983...yes havent followed all of his cricket so my vision is coloured

the england team is winning because it is being less of an england team, with mudhsudens and KPs..as nasser hussain accepted that england should stop being england...that was diplomatic speak for saying that england have a defeatist mentality

Ashwin is a trash bowler. Bhajji never was able to spin the ball.

Even Ojha doesn;t spin the ball much.

India needs to drop a few players starting with the Captain.
 
good to see many england fans in the stadium...i always welcome english tourists warmly when i encounter them in person

Agreed,Iam not concerned about Ojhas performance,he is not getting any support from the other end

what did i say about mudhsuden which is out of order..i never deny he is an english born british citizen.. but you cant deny his indian ethnicity either..and also cant hide that he had to anglicize his name to monty.

India have over a billion people to select their 11 from..I am sure they will get it right some day.
 
congrats England..played well against all odds and came out as the better team...good to see your team that represents the multicultural nation your country is, and it is time for our batsmen to do some serious introspection, also we didnt have fast bowlers, now we dont have good spinners either.

Haha, that was a great shriek from Compo. Nice to see how Englanf have such good records at Mumbai, Sydney. It is like bigger the stage, the more they perform better.

Accept the defeat? That the problem with Indian players, ex-players, selectors, fan. If they admit they are outplayed then India would've been a far better team than now after playing 80+ years of international cricket.

Feel a bit sorry for Monty, pretty much every other time you took 11-fer you would win MotM lol. Also can't forget Pujara's hundred, Cook's hundred, Ojha's 9-fer and Swann's 8-fer. Can definitely forget Gambhir's 60. Good game.

It's batsman's game! :( KP has played many innings like that wasn't surprised by that. It was Monty's spell that changed the game, England were only 80 runs ahead, which could have been handled easily, if it wasn't for Monty!

Monty's first inning wickets equaled out KP's inning.

This is a tough lesson for :msd :kohli and others. It seems the Indian thinktank underestimated England's capabilities with both bat and ball. Now he would know there's more to England that just Cook and Swann. There's Monty and KP and much more. There is a double blow for India as well with Gambhir scoring a 50. He wont be dropped for Kolkata. :( Gutless selfish batting with 9,10,jack at the crease. Also granpa :sachin needs to go :(
